2017 Iron Man 70.3 in Manta | Start Living Ecuador
As announced on the Iron Man official site, registration for this race held near one the most beautiful beaches in Ecuador is now open. Though the information for the IronKids race hasn’t been announced yet, for the other categories the registration fees depend on the date you do it. For instance, three are the dates you need to take into account: December 19th till January 31st; February 1st till May 2nd; and May 3rd till July 30th. With these in mind then it depends on the category you are planning to compete. General Entry registration fee will range from US$250 to US$350; and the Relay Entry from US$350 to US$450. For registering you will need to be minimum 18 years as of July 30th, 2017.
But if high-level competitions are not for you or you want to relax after the race, then why not just stay a little longer in Manta and plan for a wonderful time in its beaches, or in one of the beaches nearby. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore all of the city surroundings, and the activities it offers, like hiking, birdwatching, or visiting historical sites.
Either way a “must” while staying there is to enjoy Manabi’s Cuisine, famous for its ceviches, “Seco de gallina criolla” (chicken stew with passion fruit juice or beer, and annatto), “Viche”, and “Corviche”. But for breakfast or a mid-day snack try “Bolones de verde” (Green plantain balls made with a plantain dough, stuffed with cheese or pork, and fried), with a cup of black coffee.
Be a part of this new way of life and start living in Ecuador where you can be part of the 2017 Manta’s Iron Man 70.3 while also being able to recharge your soul.
